Setting Up Raspberry Pi 2 B+ Model
You've just bought your Raspberry Pi 2 B+ board. How do you get it to work? This blog describes how to get it setup quickly. You will need the following items:
1 Raspberry Pi 2 B+ board
1 USB keyboard
1 USB mouse
1 HDMI monitor
1 HDMI cable
1 microSD card formatted as FAT32.
1 micro USB wall charger
1 yellow Ethernet network cable (optional)
Lay the Raspberry Pi 2B+ board on the table with the 4 USB ports and Ethernet port facing the left side and the HDMI port and micro USB port facing to the top side (facing away from you).
Connect the keyboard to a USB port.
Connect the mouse to a USB port.
Connect the HDMI cable to the monitor and to the HDMI port on the board. Power on the monitor.
Connect the network cable to your network plugin on the board and on the floor network plugin.
Do not yet connect power cable micro USB.
Do not yet insert the microSD card.

Insert the microSD card into your laptop.
Download the zip file image of RASPBIAN JESSIE from here
Extract the zip file to get 2015-11-21-raspbian-jessie.img.
On Windows, download and install the Win32DiskImager utility from here
Run the Win32DiskImager. Select the 2015-11-21-raspbian-jessie.img and the device E drive with the microSD card. Press the Write button. It will write the image to the microSD card.
Insert the microSD card into the Raspberry board.
Connect the power micro USB cable to Raspberry board. The red power LED will be on and it will start to boot with a black screen and lines of operations. Finally it will show the Raspberry desktop. You are now setup!
Way to go! You are now ready to start the other Raspberry blog posts which use RAPIFIRE. Click on the console icon on the tool bar at the top to start playing with Linux commands.
